Who is Rachel Turk?
Rachel is a 23 year old student and software developer from Montreal, Canada. She is currently finishing up her bachelor’s degree in computer science from McGill University. Rachel loves to learn. She has worked as a front-end developer, and interned as a game developer, where she utilized her entirely self taught web and game development skills. She most recently interned at Amazon where she learned more than she could have ever imagined about both front-end, and back-end technologies. She believes the internet is a wonderful tool and a never-ending resource! In her free time, Rachel enjoys skiing, fencing and reading. She is an avid traveler and spent a year in Mexico when she was 13 and 6 months in Italy at 16, with the goal of being immersed in new cultures, and learning new languages. She speaks Spanish, Italian, French and English.
